Change Points presentation to inaugural meeting of the Behavioural Science and the Natural Environment group

Sam Outhwaite and Matt Watson represented the Change Points team, which was invited to present the approach to the inaugural meeting of the Behavioural Science and the Natural Environment group.

The group is led by Natural England and the meeting included representatives from Defra, the Environment Agency, Forest Research, Natural Resources Wales, Welsh Government and more. The group gathered to discuss the potential and pathways for behaviour change in relation to the natural environment. Matt and Sam followed a presentation from Toby  Park from the Behavioural Insights Team on a new report and toolkit on Behaviour Change for Nature, which provided an excellent counterpoint for drawing out both the commonalities and distinctiveness between the current state of the art in behavioural insights and the Change Points approach. Various lines for future collaboration on the approach with the group and with agencies attending were discussed.
